Prewitt Ridge

Requirements

Make sure you have a full tank of gas and lunch and snacks packed for the day. There are no services on this run. This is an easy run and no special equipment is required.

What’s Happening

We will head south and cross through the Fort Hunter Liggett military base, and take the Coast Ridge Trail to Prewitt Ridge. We will stop for lunch and to enjoy the beautiful view at Prewitt. After lunch, anyone who wishes can break off and head back the way we came or continue south with us.

We will come out near Gorda on Highway 1. Due to the landslide near Big Sur, you cannot go north on HWY 1, so the plan is to continue south to the 46 and loop back north towards Paso Robles on Hwy 101.
