Marc Jones from Mariposa invited all of us to this Snow Run. It’s short notice - that’s because snowfall up there is highly variable. Please RSVP; we don’t want to leave anyone behind!

Meals can be dine-out together or on your own.

Conditions

Prepare for the cold! The high temperature at 2,500 ft. elevation will be around 53°F and mostly sunny.

Run Report

The short-notice run was a success! A week-long snow storm delivered plenty of fresh powder. Seven rigs met at Raley’s and headed north via Sky Ranch Road to FS 6S010. The fresh snow made traction challenging—winch lines, kinetic ropes, and straps saw plenty of use. After ~2.5 hours we stopped at 6S047Y for a long lunch. We turned around at 3:30 PM and were back on pavement in about 20 minutes. Read the full run report →
